Celebration of the International Children’s Day in the state institution of the Republican Educational and Clinical Center of Family Medicine

Every year, on June 1, the “International Children’s Day”is celebrated all over the world. Since November 1949, this holiday was established by the decision of the session of the International Federation of Women’s Democracy. The first International Children’s Day since 1950 was celebrated in the 51st country of the world.

The Convention on the Rights of the Child is one of the first conventions ratified by the Republic of Tajikistan after the transfer of State independence. By doing this, the Republic of Tatarstan demonstrated its true obligations to the younger generation as to the bright future of the country. The Convention on the Rights of the Child is the main international document that reflects all the rights of children. This Convention was adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on November 20, 1989 and has been approved in almost all States of the world. The Republic of Tajikistan has ratified the 1993 Convention on the Rights of the Child and has assumed obligations to implement the principles set out in the Convention.

It should be noted that all over the world serious attention is paid to the issues of the child’s lifestyle, his financial support, access to education and care for them. Every year, in honor of the Children’s Day, meetings with young people and children with disabilities are held in the country.

The current concern of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, especially the Founder of Peace and National Unity-the Leader of the Nation, the President of our country, the respected Emomali Rahmon, shows that protecting the interests of children, improving the level of education, intellectual and mental development, their health, is fundamentally necessary for our state, as it is a guarantee of a solid foundation for a bright future.

Happy holiday, dear children!
